Social media snapshots

Projects: Social Media Snapshots

Since October 2010 Culture Sparks has been collecting and examining Social Media metrics from Twitter, Facebook and YouTube that are constantly being generated by the social media accounts of arts and cultural organisations in Scotland. We are now harvesting metrics from social media accounts operated by 160 arts and cultural organisations, including all of Culture Sparks members, large and small, and other organisations throughout the country.

From ‘Followers’ to ‘Favourites’, we have a wealth of information that we have begun to use to inform a monthly Social Media Snapshot, and which will be used over the coming months to help organisations of all scales and sizes to make the most of their social media to engage more fully with their friends and followers.
